Nokia The World’s Biggest Signpost

Location: UK
Featured case study from farfar/Isobar Global

When people think about navigation, they don’t think about Nokia. So Nokia called for an idea that would not only drive interest in their mobile navigation solution (OVI maps), but also inspire people to use their services both on their mobile phones and on the web. We wanted to demonstrate that mobile navigation meant more than just getting from A to B. Bringing the campaign line of “Get to the Good Things” alive, we turned navigation into something social - a channel where users can share their favourite places or ‘good things’.

The solution... the world’s biggest signpost! A 50-meter tall interactive installation pointing out peoples favourite locations all around the world. People could send their ‘good thing’ either via SMS or through the good things map on nokia.com where the installation was also streamed live. Bringing the digital and real world together in a spectacular, yet simple execution.
